Maison Joseph Drouhin founded in 1880, are one of the major ‘negociants’ in simple language a ‘wine merchant’ of Burgundy. The Estate owns vineyards in Chablis, the Cote de Nuits, Cote de Beaune and Cote Chalonnaise etc.
The Drouhin family are members of the ‘Primum Familiae Vini‘ or abbreviated PFV, in latin meaning ‘First/Best families of the wine’. An association started in 1993 by Miguel Torres another heavyweight in the wine world and Robert Drouhin.

The gracious hosts Mr.Aseem Kapoor area G.M Hyatt Regency and Sumit Sehgal the brain behind Prestige Wines and Spirits is responsible for bringing to us these fabulous wines and spirits. The event hosted at ‘The Mansion’ Hyatt Regency, New Delhi introduced commercial export director Joseph Drouhin, Mr.Christophe Thomas. He brought in wines that represent “the truth of what is wine and terroir expression quientessence” says Thomas.
Wines like the Joseph Drouhin La Foret Bourgogne chardonnay and Joseph Drouhin Chablis Proprietes Reserve de Vaudon, that were paired with starters made by Chef Marin – executive chef Hyatt Regency. Cold smoked organic Scottish salmon- crushed black pepper- toasted pumpkin seeds, Tartar from salmon, Tasmanian trout caviar- buckwheat and potato blinis- sour cream and chives.
